The successful applicant will work in our busy transport office Monday to Friday. Start and finish times will vary between 6am to 7pm – 9 hours per day.

This is a development role where you will receive the necessary training and gain relevant experience within our transport office for the efficient and profitable planning of deliveries and collections of our customers goods across the UK utilising our own fleet of drivers and vehicles.

Reporting to the IT Manager you will have responsibility for providing the first point of contact for user support, either by telephone, email or in person.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will carry out routine maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation, predominately on our trailer fleet and occasionally on our fleet of tractor units.

You will have responsibility for servicing, inspecting and repairing our trailers to a DVSA standard.

HGV Mechanical experience is essential and prior use of diagnostic equipment would be advantageous. Preferably you will have welding experience with proven confidence of fault finding and problem solving.
